Coffee drinking is the latest trend in Hong Kong, and with more cafés springing up every day, how can you tell good coffee from bad ?

Specialty Coffee Consultant and Master Coffee Roaster, Mr. Geordie B. Donaldson, is offering courses on coffee culture and appreciation.

Starting on Thursday evening, 7th November, Geordie, who is also part-owner and operator of the Café Zambra chain, will give a series of seminars on coffee history, medicinal benefits, origins, and roasting styles. The seminar will be held at Café Zambra in Jaffe Road, and application forms can be downloaded here.

Participants will learn cupping techniques, and taste a range of the worlds leading coffees. The course is limited to 15 people per session and the price of HK$550 includes a free Coffee Plunger, bag of Premium Coffee, written course material, and a light supper.
