Downstairs is a bustling dine-in and take-out café, serving freshly baked croissants, pastries and muffins, gourmet sandwiches, salads, cakes and light meals. For those with a little more time to relax, our mezzanine floor offers soft seating, sofas and an open balcony. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, the colours warm and vibrant, and the music a blend of Mediterranean and Latin.
The food is light and healthy, with a number of vegetarian items. For special occasions, parties or if you’re just feeling a bit peckish, there is an enormous range of extremely decadent cakes available, baked fresh at the café. But the soul of Café Zambra is the coffee. Now widely known in Hong Kong for our range of packaged Specialty Coffees, Café Zambra uses the same premium quality beans, fresh roasted in the café, to be brewed as your favourite gourmet drinks. There is a wide range to choose from and all drinks can be prepared for takeout, dine-in or delivery.
But the supreme test of a café is always its espresso. “Exceptional” is about the only way to describe ours. What more can I say? You want a ristretto – we make it short. You want it Northern Italian – it’s 1 to 1½ ounces with a thick, chestnut crema. You want it French style – we pull it long. How do we manage to offer such great coffee? Well, we’re the only place in town roasting Specialty Grades. We’re also the only café in Hong Kong roasting on site! Our stuff is premium and it’s FRESH! March of 2002, Café Zambra opened its flagship store. A 2000sq
split level café in the middle of Wan Chai’s thriving
business district. Decked in Zambra’s traditional ochre and
azure interior the café aims to both relax and invigorate.
If
you’re in a hurry, grab something on the run. We open at 7.30am
– get a coffee and muffin to go. Stuck at the office? 
The
café offers the largest range of Specialty Coffees in Hong
Kong. We offer two brewed coffees from different regions of the
world (the selection is changed daily) as well as an array of gourmet
coffee and non-coffee beverages. On a more luxuriant level we provide
exotic and rare coffees elegantly served in a French Press for one
to three people.
